Greetings from the Head of Boys!
On behalf of all the faculty and staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome as we return for the 9th year of the existence of the Boys' section at JKS and also celebrate the 22nd anniversary since the establishment of Jeddah Knowledge International School by Ms. Elham Al-Fadli, now the Executive Director.
What makes the 2018-2019 academic school year exciting is that the Boys’ section has now reached another considerable milestone, the second cohort of graduates of the Diploma Programme (DP), grade 12.
As always, we will continue to provide a rigorous academic curriculum, in a conducive and technologically advanced environment that aims to develop students who recognise the value that education brings to them personally as they grow as productive individuals in their community. Beyond catering for their academic needs, students will be encouraged to take part in a variety of clubs, service as action opportunities, sports, international sports tours and the arts that will be on offer. Through a broad range of experiences, students will grow in confidence, become self-motivated and disciplined, while developing empathy that will allow them to become inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young men.
We value all aspects of our students’ growth – intellectual, physical, social, and emotional. Challenges are a part of our students’ learning, and with the support of the staff, we look forward to collaborating with parents and guiding them through a successful year.
With the support of our parents, we aim to ensure that our students understand that a positive attitude and mutual respect are vital for a successful learning environment. Students are encouraged to be contributing members of the school community by modelling disciplined behaviour and aiming for academic excellence.
Together we can ensure that our students are recognised for their strong moral worth, their commitment to their religion and community and, their desire to make a positive difference in the world.
