At Jeddah Knowledge International School (JKS) we are convinced of the value of strategic planning for our school’s future. In light of this, we have developed the following strategic goals:

1. School Mission

Goal: To ensure that staff, students, and the whole school community are aware of, comprehend, and promote the mission statements (Philosophy Objectives and Beliefs) of Jeddah Knowledge International School (JKS).

2. School Governance and Leadership

Goal: The Board of Directors (BOD) will consist of a diverse group of highly educated individuals who have the necessary expertise and knowledge to effectively uphold the school’s Philosophy, Objectives, and Beliefs.

3. Educational Program

Goal: Jeddah Knowledge International School (JKS) is dedicated to providing educational programs focused on academic excellence while also ensuring the cultivation of lifelong skills, values, and attributes to nurture the holistic development of our students.

4. Qualification of Teachers, Administrators, Staff and Their Development

Goal: Hire teachers, staff, and administrators who are highly qualified, trained, diverse, innovative and technologically adept. All of them will have a continuous development plan and will be provided with the necessary tools and resources needed for implementing the “best practices”.

5. Student Achievement

Goal #1: Students will model the attitudes described by the International Baccalaureate (IB) and will be thoroughly equipped to complete the IB Diploma Programme, prioritizing it over other certifications. They will also attain an American Diploma and gain admission to highly prestigious universities both locally and internationally.

Goal #2: Continue administering ISA/ACER for grades 3-10, annually in February ensuring 100% of students in grade 3-10.

Goal #3: To administer to Grade 9-10 the PSAT testing annually in October.

Goal #4: SAT testing for grades 10-11 to be administered annually in October.

6. Facilities

Goal: Create a safe learning environment and provide all the necessary equipment, tools and resources that will support our academic programs, and Philosophy, Objectives, and Beliefs.

7. Information Technology

Goal: To enhance the accessibility, security, and sustainability of the school’s network infrastructure, information management systems, and other information technology tools to support and meet the needs of the school.

8. Operational Vitality: Marketing and Enrollment Management

Goal #1: Operational Vitality – Student Recruitment and Retention: To continue attracting new students, as well as maintain and increase student retention. The enrollment management plan requires that the Board of Directors (BOD) of the school reviews the annual and continuous measurement and analysis of both enrollment and retention patterns. Additionally, it requires school administrators to supervise this process and take proactive action when necessary.

Goal #2: Operational Vitality – Public Relations: To further establish the school brand. The communications/ marketing plan requires the school administrators and staff to ensure the implementation of contemporary, multiple information technologies to reach targeted audiences and to establish reliable and secure databases and accountability to stakeholders.

Goal #3: Operational Vitality – Alumni Relations: To establish alumni relationships that result in increased alumni involvement and receive their support.

Goal #4: Operational Vitality – Communication and Marketing. The school will continue to uphold its esteemed academic reputation for educating students in highly challenging academic programmes such as the International Baccalaureate Continuum Programme and the American Diploma. We will continue to serve as an exemplary Saudi Private School for others to emulate, consistently making valuable contributions to our community by offering “quality education”.

9. Finance

Goal: The school will continue to uphold a balanced budget in order to support the implementation and delivery of its educational programmes.
